I have a GM A body rearend dated in October. I was going to shorten it to fit in my drag car, before I ran the numbers and realized what it was. I have broke it down and taken the gears out. I still have the axels if buyer wants them. I will go get the casting #'s and post them later. $600 + shipping. Thanks, John.

You might get more together and can take that money and buy a moser rearend with the gear you want the right width.??

I know the Chevelle 12 bolts in 66 are about 2000k rebuild with 3.73 gears.

Your saying, that it'll take $2000 to rebuild this rear with a posi and gear? Or, I can get $2000 if already built?
I will be happy to build this for $2000 for anyone, with whatever gear!
If at most parts for this rear will total $800 minus brakes. the rest is all labor.

This will fit right in my Skylark as is, but I will be racing with a 600+ motor and will have to cut the ends to put in larger bearings, wich will alter the original size of the rear.
It should be worth something, more if kept as is just because it's a 67
For all who may not know, This rear is 1" narower than 68-72 Chevelle rearends. wich is a near replacement for a BOP rear for any A body 12 bolt swap.
