Just thought I would put this up here before I relist it on ebay. Really need to move this car to make room for the stage1 project. :TU:

This is a 1967 GS400 one of 10659 made 2 door hardtop. Original California car no rust. This is a very complete car with the aluminum front drums. Starwars air cleaner and correct carburator. AC car needs a compressor. Engine was rebuilt in October of 2003 bored .040 over with new pistons and rings TA 212 camshaft and lifters TA double roller timing set heads rebuilt with 3 angle valve job and new springs. The turbo 400 that is currently in it is out of a 1973 model but I have the original ST400 switch pitch tranny and converter in the shop to go with the car. Bucket seat console car with tilt steering wheel. AM radio. Dash has speed minder and clock that keeps time. Rear end is a non posi 2:93 gear. Paint still looks good. Chrome and trim in very good condition. Grille does have a small crack that has been repaired it is driver quality. Drivers side bucket has a tear in the seat it will need to be recovered soon see pics. Both front door panels the plastic chrome strip is coming off see pics. I know the door panels are reproductions. I have a pile of receipts from the previous owner. Also have the owners manual with the protect a plate and the state of California Notice of Purchase from Barnett Buick in Burbank. I also have the black plates that came with it. Car was originally white/white with black interior.

$13000.00 pics are at the jumpin jimmy link below.

Alan is the engine the numbers matching? and how about the intake that is on it? The starwars air cleaner looks to be a non CA clearner since it doesnt have the breather tube to the valve cover. In one picture it looks like a brake line is loose by the master cylinder. Did you repaint the car?

I like the car but just need some info. Thanks

Ed when I go up this afternoon to continue the check out of the stage1 car i'll check the #s on the block. There is a big black tube that comes out from the bottom of the air cleaner it's not hooked up to anything. I'll check the brake line but I have been driving it. I did not paint it I bought this car from staged67gspwr he got it from mlh48 Mr. Hess did most of the mechanical work to the car I think it was red when he had it shipped in from california in 2003.

Ok, That big tube should have a rubber hose that connects to the valve cover. Did you ever figure out the idle problem? Thanks

Yes and no we advanced the timing and turn the idle up. I park it idles around 1000 and in gear it lopes down to 650. It doesn't shut off any more when your in gear. We also found a fuel leak where the tubing comes out of the tank on the supply line. We brazed it to stop the leak.
