Anyone know where to get the driver side (left) motor mount for a 1967 Riviera with a 430? The TA-performance mounts specifically do NOT fit any '67 fullsize cars. Rockauto only carries the passenger side (right) mount.

I think he's looking for the left side. I have one 67 mount for a Riv, but im not sure of its a right or a left:Do No:

I read that, I was only showing him the big difference in price.
Maybe they have a left motor mount in stock, it will be worth the try :TU:

I don't have any personal experience, but the cheaper mounts may not be exact replacements. I only base that on this:

"When I installed my 455 I also replaced the passenger-side engine mount with an OEM (yes, it sat on a Buick dealer's parts counter for over 30 years) replacement mount. Sometime after 1970 the Buick engineers decided that instead of having a different engine mount for every year Riv from 1967 to 1970 (YES!!! They are all different!), they would make one mount that would fit them all. Well, guess what? It doesn't! I had to grind off a lower corner of the mount because it was contacting the frame and prevented the engine from sitting level. Heck, I couldn't even get the bolt back in! Just FYI!!!!!!

I read that at the very bottom of this page:

I shelved my good LH mount and bought newer standard 400/430/455 R & L hand mounts, I simply trimmed the corner of the LH standard mount and everything fits fine. That is effectively what the unique LH mount is on the Riv imho.

OK - so maybe it's not as bad as it sounds on that website. Thanks.

Not at all. See picture. use the upper hole and trim diagonal across the lower hole. IMG_20160101_161500_266.jpg
