1967 Skylark GS 455 4 sp. $11,500. Atlanta GA.

Car seems to be one that was for sale some time ago and I posted a lead about. It was originally listed for $4500 and sold, a few weeks later was listed again for $7500 then it sold again. Mind you these prices were with the original engine / transmission (not the current set up) The current set up seems to be one that was listed previously as well for $5000.

 

They are 17x7 front 17x8 rear but I had them made with deeper offset in the rear. That way looking from the side they're exactly the same depth.

 

That what happens when a dealer/broker gets involved. When I was looking for an El Camino I ran across this many times, the same car advertised several different places. I called one dealer about one that was less than an hour away from me and I wanted to go look at it the next day. He said he'd call the owner and see if it was still available. Huh? I asked where it was and he said the car was in Tennessee (I'm in IL). How am I supposed to see it? He said I had to come give him a deposit and he would give me the owner's information. If I buy the car he would refund my deposit, if not, he keeps it. Uh, no, I don't think so. I have to wonder how many potential buyers disappeared because of this practice.
