Is the 67 Wildcat 4-link differential the same as the 67 "A" body, I understand the width is different. I'm looking more at the dimensions of the pumpkin. The bushing center to center on my Cat are 12 13/16" for the upper, 22" on the lower and 11" spread on top of the pumpkin. Before I start putting the chassis back together I thought I would install I set of "NO HOP BARS" but all the manufactures say for "A" body only. As I'm finding out a lot of parts fit my Cat that aren't suppose to. Are "NO HOPS" even a good idea. On paper the 430 should be in the very high 400's hp, low 500's torq, high stall trans and 3:42 gears.

Last time I compared the 9-3/8" in my Wildcat to a bud's A-body w/no hop bars, it was obvious there's way too much meat on the big cat's pig to make them work. Might be worth a second look, you never know...that's just what I recall.

Good call, I think your right. I have to find one that I can put side by side. I think the truth might be that manufactures don't want to give us Cat owners any more advantages. Nothing worst than being beat by a Cat. Ahh, just kinding, love ya all.

    Thanks, Chris

All the no hop bars do is change your pinion angle to give your weight transfer and better picth on delivering the torque. This can be acomplished with adjustable uppers and or lower control arms. I can put you in touch with a guy that can custom build you a set for your Cat. If you want.
