I am looking for a car to get rerady for the pure stock races this spring so I am on a HOT and HEAVY search for a car now. I dont mind something that has an incorrect drivetrain due to I have a 455 for the car. Small block car is ok. Has to be 68-69 gs or 70-72 gs or skylark. Looking for the 3-15K range. Chris, for Pure Stock, you wouldn't be able to put your 455 in a 68/69 model. Likely also not in a 70-72 Skylark model, since a 455 wasn't a factory option on the base Skylark, I'm pretty sure.
I have a 71 buick skylark I have a 71 buick skylark pretty good condition only rust spot is under the hood where the battery tray used to be, otherwise everythings in good shape and there. Shift is on the column with bench seat in front. Can email pics. This is a california car. It has a rebuilt 350/ new 350 tranny, rebuilt 4 barrel q-jet,new brakes all the way around,:new water pump,belts and hoses,fuel pump,flowmaster exaust,runs good solid car all the way around.

71 Gs I have a 71 GS 350, auto console, disc brakes, A/C( not all there), quick ratio steering box, 15x7 ralleys, posi, correct grille, mint bumpers, runs and drives nice- red/ black interior- no vinyl top. needs details-interior, Have a complete TR code 455 and th400 short shaft. Body has been re-done- Amatuer paint and some dents(in fenders and doors) back half has new quarters and trunk pan.-(profesionally done-very nice).. I can detail and do interior for right price.
