hey guys pretty new to this site, im doing a 68 skylark 2 door hardtop! its not in the greatest shape right now any tips and ideas would be great!!!
going to be putting a gs hood on it and full black and white interior. exterior paint will be black with no side trim on it! using fenders off my old four door hard top i had and putting in the original 350 engine in it for now from my four door. quarter panels are in really rough shape as well as the trunk, but i did keep the quarters and trunk from my four door so i can donor a bit of it on to the 2 door as it is a differnetshape cause of the door jams. heres some pics of it hope to hear some feed back
    cheers

Hello, I am as well going through a 68 Sykylark GS 400. Its nice to see that I am not the only one that has decent floorboards for a car that is 40+ years old. I am in the process of getting a car rotissure, just to make it a little more easier on me. Plus, I am going to strengthen the frame up. Add a X-bars at the rear by the control arm housing. I have heard and read that it is a must to strengthen the torque boxes. Even though mine has the braces, I just don't think they are enough for what I am planning on having in it or doing to it.
