Is this a 1 year only jug. I see the 67 is different and I have tried 69&70 plastic jugs and they different as the black cap doesnt fit correctly.

I need a 68 Electra washer jar and would like the correct one.
    Thanks

I do believe it is a one year only design, and of course there aren't any repros made. The jar is used for all '68 B & C bodies, so Wildcat and LeSabre use the same one if you run across any parts cars. Good luck!

You know, I think I have one in my basement. I stripped a '68 Wildcat a year or so ago. I'll look for it tomorrow. I just hope I can identify it correctly...

Yes I am Doug. It has to be from a 68 as I have tried a 67 and the 69-70 jugs and they are a little different and the lid doesnt fix the later jugs.
    Thanks

Sorry Ed - got tied up with my Fee-Bay auctions! Here's a couple pics of the 68 Electra washer jar I've got:

It looks "yellow-er" in the pics than it reailly is :kodak: but it's not perfect. No real cracks but if you look close there are some micro "fractures" on one of the upper corners - it does hold water though. $20 plus shipping.

    What are the differences?

Years ago, I have replaced the washer fluid jar in my '68 Wildcat with a '69 Skylark jar and I didn't notice any differences between both (other than my '68 jar had badly cracked plastic at the top...)

    What did I miss?

Here's a poor quality picture showing the washer jar from the '69 Skylark in my '68 Wildcat.

The original black lid doesnt fit tight and the 69 and later have the hose coming out of the top instead of the side. I had a nice 68 but got to agressive cleaning it and cracked.

Here's a 1969 Skylark, can you tell me the difference? The lid is the same as the one I got 15 years ago on the '69 Skylark, the one that was previously on my '68 Wildcat and the one on my '67 Riviera.

I dont know. I got one from a 68 Skylark and it was a little different. The car is in storage now but I will take pictures when I get the one Doug has.
