1968 GS HD 3 speed manual transmission

    This is a cast iron "Dearborn sourced", aka Ford Toploader 3 speed specifically made for GM applications. Has an ID of RAT-E1. Never had it in a car, but the synchros, gears and bearings all look good. I can manually put it in all gears. No reason why it shouldnt work good.

    $175.00 plus shipping. I'm thinking Im going to need to build a crate or shrink wrap it to a pallet if you cant pick it up or use the Buick "railroad" for shipping.

    how strong are these ? Could I stand a SportWagon on its bumper with one ?

    They're alot stronger than a Muncie. Thats why they used them!

    Not to hijack the thread, but I have a heavy duty HURST 442 3spd shifter from 65 that was made for these trans available.
