I have a 1968 gs400 convertible, not the original motor or trans. The car is very well optioned out, it has power windows, power drivers bucket seat, cruise control, and AM/FM radio. I just had the seats redone, new foam, covers and any springs that were broke welded. Unfortunately I had an encounter with a deer then a tree, the restoration shop it is at told me that the price to fix exceeds the value I had it insured for. I figured I'd put it out here to see if anyone has an interest in repairing it or for parts. The car is located in New Jersey, $5000.00 or B/O The frame is bent in the front and has a crack in it. The car was undercoated but from what I was told the frame was rusting from the inside out and weakened it and with impact it cracked. Really the car is too nice to partout, looking sell whole. The last picture is from when I was putting the carpet in, the car has a full stock interior and the seats were just redone with, legendary covers, new foam and any springs that were broke were fixed. my phone # 732-259-7740 Thanks Joe
Would it be a salvage title after being repaired though. (I really need to fix my question mark key...) This looks like a pretty good deal for someone who can do a lot of the work needed themselves.
WOW! Quick flip!!! Looking for BIG $$$$$. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1968-Buick...ash=item1eda475e4e:g:kk4AAOSwZrJai0Ln&vxp=mtr
I viewed this car last summer. Well optioned car. Interior is a mix of old and new and coloring is inconsistent. Trunk floor is thin and has been repainted. Rear quarters were repaired in what looks like the 80's with a mix of angled sheet metal and body filler. The damage is more extensive than noted. The right door drops at least 2" when opened.
