Found this 68 LeSabre 400 about an hour north from me. It looks well worn but it does have a 455 with an aluminum intake, HEI, aluminum rad with 2 electric fans, etc... Agreed. Somebody obviously was making it into something for themselves. Engine swap, wheels, stripes....even though it's not something a lot of us would do to a car like that, somebody cared about it at one point enough to do a lot of work to it.
