1968 ralley wheels

    did buick offer the chevy style ralley wheels in 1968.also if the did how would i be able to find out if my car came with them.

    u will require the buildsheet or order form or window sticker. if the car was produced in canada or imported new into canada by gm, then u can obtain the info of the car from gm.

    I kniow od a slotted wheel similar to chevy in 67 and another in 71. Look at a pic of a 67 GS 340 and see if thats the wheels you have.

    If your car came with front dics brakes the only wheels Buick offered that would fit were the Chevy style rally wheels with Buick centers.

    They Are The Same As The 67s.the Car Was Built In The States.does Not Have Disc.the Car Was Bought Out Of Fla 20 Years Ago From A Little Old Lady By A Friend Of Mine There Was No Paper Work That I Know Of.it Now Has 15" On It But The Spare In The Trunk Is A 14" With A Code That When I Looked Into It Came Up As Other Makes.i Don't Realy Care If They Are Stock I Think They Are Cool.never Seen Another 68 With Them On It.

    I like that painted the same color as the strip.my car is aqua mist with white stripes wheels are aqua.thougt about painting them white but not sure

    They were the only "rally" wheels Buick offered with discs, standard steel wheels with poverty or regular hub caps could also be had :bla:

    Those "chevy" style rallys could also be ordered without disc brakes and they were usually (not always) painted body color in '68. I have seen two original sets (blue and cameo cream) to back this up...

    I just put it on my avitar its the only one i have right now.Its put away for the winter.Ive got some new parts for it so i need to get to it before spring comes.I will take some pics and post them under mebers rides in the spring.
