i thought of that , but i figured that this is the PURE STOCK forum , moparts will get me the SHOW POODLE answer .

i need to know what piston to use that doesn't require cutting .070 off the deck on the block like the nhra spec piston would require .

i have the NHRA piston and its .100 in the hole

just a shot in the dark, but try calling Diamond or another piston manufacturer and see what they can make........

my guess is that blocks are being ground.

How about having your rods bushed and rebored for a longer length? :Do No:

i could definitely get a piston made , best i can tell is i need a piston that is 2.050 CH , choices are 2.060 with valve reliefs , not 69 legal , or 1.991 , but that would mean this block is either .030 or so to tall , doubtful , or the rods were really screwed up when redone ... think i will have to dismount a rod from the piston that needs to be replaced to measure the rod and piston .

thanks for the ideas , i got a PM for Tom Cannon also with help .:idea2:
