Tilt column out of a 1974 GM A body. The column is still tight when moved in it's different positions. Includes the Buick style shift and tilt levers. the wiring needs repair caused by two piggyback wire connectors for some type of cheap alarm system. $120.00 shipped in the lower 48 states.
Al, Do you know for sure if this is the same as a 70-72 Buick A body? Is the plastic chrome on the levers good or is it peeling? PS - The turn signal lever is very nice. Thanks!
The column has a few cosmetic and mechanical differences such as the end of the shift lever but it can be used in an earlier A body when a correct piece is not a concern. I have used these later columns in the past in several A bodies since these are easier to find. The chrome is not peeling just good driver condition.
I'll pass on the tilt column, but I am interested in the levers if someone wants the column only. Thanks.
Is $20 shipped fair for the levers? If not let me know what you think is fair. Perhaps Al can ship the levers to me and I can PayPal either of you, or if you buy it all and want to ship the levers to me once you receive them that is fine. Thanks.
mt5425 if you only want the column I can do $100.00 shipped to your door. James, I am almost certain there is differences in the column shift lever and it may not work in an original 1969-72 column. Let me check it out to make sure. I'll be sending you guys a pm once I confirm if they are any differences.
I checked the shift lever and it is the same for tilt wheel applications, so you are good if it is going to be used in a tilt column. $20.00 for the levers is alright with me James. I'll be sending you guys a pm shortly.
