I am looking for a 2 door 1969 buick wildcat . I am going to be fussy but it needs to have console shift, buckets, black vinal interior, front discs, possibly vinal top, and i am hoping for a low mileage car, with no or little rust. I would consider a restored or low mileage car and I do know what i am willing to pay to find my car. My dad had one but we live in CAnada and it succumed to rust and eventually got wrecked once it left the family. They must exist but i have been looking for years and cannot find one. Should I be going to the BG Nationals to look, does anyone know if alot of cars are for sale there? thanks

69 wildcat thanks i'll give you a call soon. Although I do have to have a 69 as i've been looking long enough now that it needs to be a 69. My dads butternut yellow wildcat didn't have many options but it was ordered by him and now i'm finding out it was special because he ordered it with disc brakes(rare), consol buckets etc..I might as well keep looking for the right car someday I'll find one. thanks for the reply, Gord

69 wildcat I have the 69 'cat 2 dr hardtop with less than 90K miles in East TN- gold color, original 455 and even the original chrome cat head hub covers. However, the interior is in poor condition and there's a ding or 2- motor needs work although it did drive off the trailer about 6 months ago. $1900 will get it and you can sub out restoration. The proverbial 'diamond in the rough' if you're interested. Also have a 2 dr '69 Skylark in better running condition and perfect straight body if anybody's interested.
69 wildcat thanks for the reply, I live in Canada but was in Mephis Tn last weekend looking at a 71 gsx, possibly I was somewhat close to your car. Would you be able to post some pics of your 69 wildcat? I am new to this sort of site and am not sure what I'm doin? The 69 wildcat had 430 not 455 so possibly you could check that out, thanks Gord
You are right. 430-4 barrel it is. The VIN # is 4643790109272 and I'll attempt to send a pic ('69 Wildcat on left, '69 Skylark on right).
