Guys, I had an ad on here about a year ago, sold some stuff, and had some stuff pending, then had to ship out without notice. I'm back, and would like to honor pending deals if people are still interested. Had someone wanting the AM/FM for $200, and another wanting the x-brace and convert windlaces for $70. Also Mark- you wanted the complete vacuum power lock setup for $200- still yours if you want it. Still have the body shell/chassis, posi, big block mounts and steering shaft. Very nice pair of fenders. Very nice convert decklid. AC stuff, complete PS setup w/bb bracket, dash, Power bench seat, top bows, pinchweld stainless, 1/4 glass, original T400, complete power disc brake setup, posi is 2.9x ratio. Would sell as package deal, or just by the part. Thanks! Chris 816.694.9538

Everything but the mounts are available. x-brace should be the same. Dash is nice, but I will look it over again. Headlight buckets are average. Feel free to call me to discuss. Thanks! Chris 816.694.9538

Ray-- Brian appears to be ahead of you for the cross braces.

chris-- If you are going to sell here, it is your responsibility to sell in the order of respones in the open forum indicating interest.

Any parts you have specifically mentioned as being fore sale, must have a price posted with them. Please take the time to review the Board rules for selling.

    Chris,

I admire your wanting to honor prior pending sales, and if someone is ahead of me I understand. On April 29th I posted on this thread interest in the cross braces and am-fm from a 1969 GS400 convertible. If you have these parts available, and don't have prior pending obligations, I wish to work something out on those two items after we work out a few details.

    Thank you

    Chris,

Asking $50 more on here than on Craigslist for the AM-FM?

If you half way care about the car being restored, why in the h e double tooth picks wouldn't you put it on here under cars for sale with as much detail as you took time to put it on your local Craigslist?

If you want to save the car and try to sell it on here whole, with pictures, I'll wait a few weeks and I doubt if anybody else would have a problem with that either

Here's my offer. $150.00 for AM-FM (good shape and connectors complete) and $50 for cross braces with hardware as you previously stated in prior ads. Let me know on shipping to 41048 and PM me your address and I'll get a check on the way. A picture of each item would make me feel more confident about the sale. Don't leave me hanging if you are still "trying to keep up with all of this and other things going on in my life- crazy right now! OK." I don't know exactly what that means because like a lot of us I've got a wife, 3 kids, house in the burbs, full time job, wife works, 6 daily drivers, etc.

Good God, people.......... OK. I tried REAL HARD to sell this car COMPLETE. For like a year and a half. For a real fair price. At some point, I got tired of dealing with some real stupid people wanting to lowball me on the whole rig, and I had a long list of people- nice, carguy people- wanting some of the GS-specific stuff off the car for their restorations, so I decided to begin parting. As in, I sold the hood, breather, rechromed front bumper, grille, and power window setup for nearly what I had been asking for the whole friggin project car. Hated to do it, but in the end, it was about the dollars, and the frustration of multiple lowballers. Actually, it was some A-hole from the St Louis area who really sent me over the part-out cliff. Real peach. Please understand that I have been trying to sell the car, then part it for like 3 years now. I had placed multiple ads on KC Craigslist, one on St Louis CL, mainly because it's in-person transactions- none of this ship an inner fender to Hawii stuff- also prefer in-person transactions because my description of a "mint" piece might not measure up to yours. So there have been multiple ads at multiple times, and thus, sometimes prices have differed. I will honor the lowest price from any of my prior ads. Don't freak out on me here people. So. I WILL honor prior deals and people in line on here. In order. If I have mistakenly double-promised, I apologize, and first in line will be honored. I'm sure that you guys that frequent this board have a better idea of who is in line for what right now than I do. I have not shipped ANYTHING yet since returning from the sand. I do not get on this site hourly, and sometimes don't log on but every few days. I am not doing this professionally. If you can't understand the fact that I am a busy guy, then I don't know what to tell you. Sorry. Doorlock setup is spoken for- MARK - After that, I will sort out who wanted what from my prior listing, if they still want the stuff, and if not, then who is in line on here for what. If you want a part(s), and clearly state on here that you want it, then I will not sell it out-from-under you. Having said that, if you say you MIGHT need, MIGHT want, ...... then I consider it still for sale. Does this make sense? Hope so. ALSO- If you want to call me to discuss parts/issues/ just pick up the phone- 816-694-9538 Thanks- Chris

Chris, apparently you don't read your own ads. Do you not see the line where you imply selling the whole car to restore? I did. Soooo, I was just wondering why it hasn't been on here. PERIOD.

It's your car, to do with as you please. But anytime you make the decision to part out instead of sell whole to all the evil low ballers, you have to know you're in for a bunch of deals rather than one and of course it's gonna take some time and organization on your part. You should have PM'd everyone you had a pending deal with from your last thread. That's just plain common sense and not something you have to do professionally. You shouldn't have started a new thread until all the loose ends were cleaned up from a year ago. PERIOD.

So, am I behind the persons from a year ago or are those deals null and void? That's your job, as Jim states, and not mine! I'm on here all the time and I have no idea where I stand! Again :Do No: You must not know because you didn't PM me your address and you just rambled on here with more b.s. and excuses, so I'm still in the dark. I'll make it easy for ya, I'm out because I'm not confident you can sort things out. I could have used the parts too and have the $$$. I guess you can call me a peach just like a guy from St. Louis...

Just curious, that $100 on the windshield, were you gonna collect that from somebody before they tried to pull it, or only if they successfully removed it? Since none of the other items mention the buyer removing the part, I'm going to assume I know the answer to that.

P.S. There's a little section on here that says Car Part-Outs. You can put your 3rd thread about this on there next year. Your welcome.
