The reason I asked is a friend of mine is looking for a set of 48 heads for a `69 GTO. I don't think they used the 48 on a Grand Prix but you never know. I'll give him the phone number. Thanks.
The intake valves on those heads were incredibly large. I don't know much about Pontiac motors but I've seen a bunch of double hump 202 heads and they look everybit as large as a 202 valve! I hope he finds what he wants!
The '69 GP heads would be casting #62 on a 400cid and #46 on a 428cid. If the GP was equipped with a manual transmission (unlikely but possible) then they would have 48s. Bill, I have a pair of 48 heads for your buddy if he is still looking. john@minnesota-muscle.com Thanks John
