Not Mine. Owner must not know much about the car to spell Grand Sport "Book value 13,800. Get it before it goes on eBay for $14,500"? http://www.ksl.com/index.php?sid=0&nid=443&tab=list/view&ad=3897308
I doubt its a real GS. IMO not worth 11K. Where did they get the idea for the stick on body side moldings?
Why would someone put the GS emblem on the left fender correctly and install the GS emblem on the right fender in completely the wrong location? Whats wierd is that its not the first time Ive seen this.
Not a real GS, it has 'added on' emblems, (. . . one of them incorrect, as Jason pointed out), and a '68 grill insert !! Here's my explanation Jason: There are three cutouts punched into the rear front fender supports on both sides, that allow easy access to the retaining nuts on GS emblems. It is almost impossible to access the retaining nuts on the right fender of a 'true GS', as the inner wheel well interferes, and they cannot be accessed easily from the bottom of the fender. While the R-I-V-I-E-R-A letters are positioned 'mirror image' (same left and right), the GS emblems are not. However, it is much easier to mount the right hand emblem in the incorrect rear position on the right fender, and thats my story. Just remember - its a 'Riviera GS', not a 'GS Riviera' !! :TU:
