removed price, going on Bring a Trailer soon

Selling this Riviera I have owned for one year. Found this locally on Bring a Trailer and struck a deal after it ended RNM. From what I understand (the seller was a young man who is a close family friend of the previous owner) the car was originally from Ohio and the PO brought it to the NW about 30 or 40 years ago. He kept it in a very nice shop close to me. It appears to be a very nice (excellent condition) survivor that runs well.

The main issues I have found in my short time with it are it has oil and trans fluid drips around the bell housing area. There is an exhaust leak around the passenger side manifold on cold start. There are some paint chips and scratches (the worst is the front pass corner). The top is very good condition but does show age and has a stain toward the rear (I think possibly due to having a car above on a 4 post that may have leaked something). The only signs of rust I have found are at the lower door inside seam and a little on pass side.

The interior is in extremely nice condition, with the only issues being a small mark on the headliner that is not very visible and a couple missing buttons on the drivers seat (one included) and the lower bolster being a bit worn. Everything works that I know of, including the radio, the trunk release, we fixed the power bench switch (had to solder on a post that broke loose). It has plastic carpet covers - I don't know if they are a dealer or factory thing. Even the green floor mats are excellent condition (and the black trunk mat).

I fixed the hideaway headlights with new Camaro vacuum canister units and a conversion kit from an ROA member. They even have the black plastic covers intact. The hood was reported to have been repainted at some point and there is visible overspray that corroborates the story, but it does match the Polar White perfectly. Other than that I have found no signs of damage, repairs, etc. The only non-original parts I have seen are the air shocks in the rear which do leak down (I will try to locate the leak, but may be internal).

I am pretty firm on price, but reasonable offers will be considered.

But on a sad note the 8-track player appears to have stopped playing. It still hums pretty loud when turned all the way up, just nothing at all from the tape. I am pretty bummed about that. If anyone wants to throw me an offer I am willing to chat about it. This car is a pretty amazing survivor!

PM me your contact info and I'll pass it onto someone I know looking for one of these cars. We're in Fl so that may be an issue for him.

Hi Tom, it's listed at No Reserve, so the highest bid takes it home.

Haha! Believe me, I went back and forth so much on listing it with vs without. In the end, I do need to sell it so I figure I may take a hit but hoping it gets at least what I paid. It sucks because I really do like the car and don't like the thought of letting it go.

Same here, especially this close to Christmas when money's getting spent elsewhere. But, ya gotta do what ya gotta do. Nice car and I hope it does very well.
