It plugs into what is called a Duplex box and is required to make this radio work. It was the top of the line radio option .

My 1970 Buick has a mono AM radio, will it have one as well?

No. has to be the "Delco Stereo" Duplex box. Its what KIMG0121.JPG makes the radio true stereo.

Is there anywhere I can find an amplifier? And will this radio fit in my 70 wildcat?
