Sorry if this may have been discussed here before but I could not find the info I was looking for so I will ask. On the 1969 Skylark GS head light rings (with chrome around the outside edges) what color is the paint on the inner parts supposed to be? I know the difference between the 68's and 69's but I have seen 1969 Skylark and GS rings with the grey color and have also seen some painted black. Were all the factory trim rings grey in color or did GM paint some of them black depending on the model? Anyone with pictures it would be appreciated.
