1969 Yenko Camaro. Not running. It has the original drivetrain including the 427 engine along with the original bill of sale and window sticker. First $5,000. takes it. It needs full restoration or use for parts. It has a New York transferable registration. No trades and no, will not take less. CALLS ONLY please! Listed for my neighbor so please call him directly. Car is located in Brightwaters.

Only one picture, but there is a phone number. Scam?

Probably needs a RE-BODY. If the ad is even real. Dynacorn is making that body.

Bet there is a major traffic jam in Brightwaters right now. Lots of trucks with trailers cruising the streets looking for this car.

Obviously a scam. Also, I know this because I know that car. That was a picture of it when it was sitting in a small town in WI 25+ years ago. I saw it in person. Real deal Yenko.

YES has to be a scam. Even a 6 cylinder 69 Camaro body with rust brings $10K !

All of the Yenko crowd knew of this car. The owner at that time got the car as a present from his father back when he was in high school in the mid 70s. The car was sitting like you see it in the mid 90s as the owner didn't have the means to store it, or restore it. I had heard he was getting offers in the 50k range for it back then. It eventually sold and has been restored. Dark green, black vinyl top, black interior. Still had original drivetrain and was one of the fewer automatics. Body wasn't as bad as what you might assume from the picture.

Max Damage I'm working on it!

Doesn't look too bad in the photo, aside from the yard waste. Wonder what it looks like now...

There was one like this in my hometown back in the day, 70’s-80’s. It was a dark green 4 speed. It went through a couple of local owners and the last guy who owned it wrecked it. The owners dad owned a local salvage yard. The car sat in the yard for years and got picked over. He finally sold what was left (hull and tags I believe) to someone in Chicago who “restored“ it.

That's a good prank on someone you don't like.
I wish I had the old lady's number next door to my pops dam that lady was mean to us youngsters back in the day.
Till this day she still screams at my pops when he fires up his Buick.

Reminds me of a scam a friend of mine fell for in college. He found the listing on cars or kbb.

When he showed me the ad it was obviously a scam and I told him over and over not to do it. But he was so sure he had found a rare opportunity.

It was for a Lancer Evo the guy wanted 10k for it. If I remember right he would ship it for 5k and take payments. Long story short he got a loan and sent him the 5k as a money order. The guy gave him some trucking company number and said they would deliver it in a week.

The week came and went and the guy changed his number.

I remember the story back in the late 60s early 70s , In a certain nearby small town there was a mint 62 vette fuelie car for sale for 200 bucks , the problem was somebody died in it and seller couldn’t get the smell out.

Sometimes the story would change to a 56 t bird .
