I have a set of 1970, 455 Buick heads, complete, with rocker arms, I have the complete 1970, 455 motor that they came off of, it had a GS club cam (not a big one) so the springs may be stiffer than stock. Either way, there sitting on my shelf and I'll probably never use them, I can't post pics or casting numbers until Thursday evening. $350 shipped to lower 48. I'll take PayPal, or other, but will not ship until money clears. Gary G.
Are these used and worn or have they been completely rebuilt and not used since the rebuild and are they just standard valves, not Stage 1"s?
These are standard 455 heads, not stg. 1. I bought the complete motor apart, heads were already pulled off, i just put them on my shelf. They should be checked out, but they did look ok..If you are local and come get them, of course the price will be "adjusted".. Gary G.
Casting number is; 1231786, per Gesslers' web site these are 1970 455 heads. Could use alittle cleaning, but should be fine. I'm including a brand new set of plastic buttons for the rockers, a couple are missing. Gary G.
I think I'll take them to get hot tank cleaned on Friday, maybe if they look better they'll sell. Gary G.
I'd have them magged right away if you're gonna go through the trouble of cleaning them. Might sell easier if the buyer knows they're good. I'd be interested, but I'm poor right now :ball: I could swing it, but I really shouldn't . . .
Does M-19 sound right?? I'm out of town until Thursday,so I can't go look at them, but I did talk to someone about the date codes last week, pretty sure M-19 on both heads. I'll double check on Thursday. Gary G.
