1231786 1970 69cc iron heads These heads were stripped and cleaned and rebuilt in October of 2015. New hardware from TA Performance all around including the valves, guides, seats, retainers, STG1 springs, all of it. They had a 3-angle valve job done and were ran for less than 5000 miles. I have switched to aluminum which is why they are for sale. Zero issues with the heads and they are ready to bolt on and run. Asking $500 plus shipping. Parts are located in Clarksville, TN.
Are they stage 1 valves? I can't really tell. They look like small valves to me but the carbon is masking it from definitively knowing.
Parts list shows TA 1430A for the complete valve set when built. All the hardware was purchased from TA Performance. I don’t have any flow numbers for these things or anything like that. The engine was built at Scott’s Auto Machine and Parts in Fayetteville Georgia in October of 2015. I can try and get better pictures of these heads. I just pulled them off and boxed them up.
OK, inline for a buddy looking for Stage 1 heads. Waiting to hear back from him. We can come to get them so shipping is not important. I should know by the first thing in the morning.
yes, hardened seats. These heads were put together well, with all hardware from TA Performance. I’d have kept them and ported them myself if I didn’t have PTSD from porting the old irons from my 350! That sucked! Aluminum was a must this go around. The price is worth it to me! That said, these heads are a solid set, with many of trouble free miles in them.
I cleaned the carbon from one of the chambers so you could see more clearly. Buickclub, let me know what you decide man!
Man, I'd be all over these but shipping costs to Canada would kill me! Any chance you're taking a road trip north . Bump for ya!
