1970 455 oiling modifications

    I currently have motor apart and I have located a 5/8 inch oil pick-up tupe to replace the factory 1/2 but could someone tell me exactly how to drill oil passage? I have seen the artical by Gary Fanning but I do not see where it talks about the main oil passage from the pick-up tube. Is there any more information anyone can give me? THANKS !

    just drill it out to 5/8 go in about 3/4 of an inch.

    What about the long passage to the pump?

    T/A Performance sells a 12" long 5/8 drill bit to bore the long passage out.
