    What is the date code on the heads? We have a member looking for an A or B date coded set of 1970 heads. It could help your sale.

    So the date code on a Buick head is a single letter? I assume this can be found under the valve cover? I'll add the pic to the auction this evening when I locate it. Thanks

    I did notice the code on the Qjet is Sept. 25th of '69, so it might be an early build.

    I looked at the date codes of the cylinder heads and they are J 26 and J 29.

    I was asked about the suffix code stamped on the block by a viewer of the auction. The code is "SF".

    That's what it is under. My apologies. I created the auction on my IPhone and was unaware of the fact that it was under that category. I went to change it, but I received a bid within a couple of hours of listing the auction and Ebay will not let me change it. That is the whole reason I created this thread to start with.
