Owner's name is Randy. I spoke with him about a convertible he was selling this past spring. Seemed to be an honest straight shooter on the phone, as we talked for over half an hour, not necessarily all about cars.
For that kind of cash, I would want the correct master cylinder and a plated booster. Also looks like a union on the transmission line. But still, nicer than anything I'll ever have.:ball:
I notice the stripes are more like a gloss than the satin that some say that was used. I guess there seems to be a disagreement on this? From what I have seen posted from some original paint cars the low-gloss (almostgloss) is correct. Maybe like a 10% flattener? It is a nice looking car but a little steep for a non-body off restoration. A little detail, a few correct rebuilt and replated parts would go a long way. Nelson
I have seen a more optioned GSx at the reunion. There is no cruise on this one. It looks like a 71/72 style drivers inner fender. Anyway I am sure its a great car but at 109k the pool of buyers doesn't include me either
The center "spear stripe" on the hood is not the correct shape. Nice car but the correct stripes on a GSX have always been a "pet peeve" of mine and I tend to pick out the inconsistencies right away.
John, I thought you caught something I missed. So I expended the picture and I think it is a 70 inner. It looks like the triangle is pronounced instead of recessed. Take a look again and see what you think. I do think you are correct on the buyer pool. Nelson
I like the red crimp connector on the green A/C wire. Nice touch! ou:. I noticed the center spear too. Looks like they just brought it to a point. FWIW, I dont think Craigslist is the right venue for a six figure supercar it does have the rare heater valve delete.
