Hell, here in Ohio that's a clean car.

Sounds like it's had a number of things done over the years, all not original though.

    I think the car was originally a 72 Skylark 350, not a 70 GS 455.

the guy says its a 70 skylark with a GS 455 engine... hes no trying to pass it of as a GS.

I checked on this car and talked to the guy. He thinks the car was a skylark, but somebody took all the GS stuff from a wrecked car and put it on this car. I haven't seen the car, but still seems like a good deal. Out of my price range though.

I realize that, but it looks like a 72 Skylark (with a 70 front bumper, grille, and air cleaner), not a 70 Skylark. Look closely - it has 72 door panels, 71-72 bucket seat covers, 71-72 turn signal lever, 71-72 sport mirrors. The VIN and cowl tag info would be helpful.

Man, in New Mexico that's almost completely restored! :Dou:

I gotcha james. I didnt even pay attention to the interior or sport mirrors.

I didnt even notice it had sport mirrors.

Seats look good and so does the hood, thats a couple of grand worth of stuff. Definately 72 interior, looks like flat lenses as well.
