Looking for a front bench seat for a 1970 GS 455. My interior is "standard" so I believe this style seat had to center armrest but did have head rests.
Not concerned about the condition as I am going to restore it.
Let me know what you have!
    Thanks

Standard interior bench seat did NOT have bench seat fold down armrest.

What firewall code for interior is on your body tag?

    Richard,
I think he meant to write "no' in his post where he wrote "to".

His trim code is 124, std sandlewood interior.

I love the Split Bench Seat....so comfy. I would easily take it over Bucket Seats....I know, I know....I am showing my age.

I have a split bench with fold down armrest, headrests, out of a 70 Skylark. Where are you located? I am in Southern New Hampshire....JIM

I also have a 70 GS with a split bench, but the covers are the better ones, but if you have to change it anyway,it really does not matter.Bruno.

I am in Connecticut. Can you maybe post some photos of what you have for sale?
Or you can send them to me directly at finest20@yahoo.com
    Thank you

    Rob,
You can use either the 70 deluxe no-armrest seat or a 70 standard no-armrest seat. The only difference between the seats is the deluxe seats have small brackets that are screwed into the front seat top frames for the chrome "hockey sticks" to attach. You can either leave those inside the seats or take them out, your call.

When it comes time to re-upholster the seat you will need to locate the short plastic pieces that cover over the hinges at the bottom and the attaching clips. Chevelles used them, so they are probably reproduced. They were also color coded to match the interior, so they would need sprayed.

    Hope this helps.
