1970 fiberglass skylark/GS hoods

    Wasent sure where to post this but... anybody know where i can purchase a 1970 GS fiberglass hood that has the scoops cut out already? anyone making em?

    opg and yearone has them be sure to get the springs for fiberglass hood also

    You know what I called OPG and asked if the scoops were cut out and the guy said no, theyre not functional,...

    thats lame i wonder if a body guy can modify them easily before painting

    This isn't that great of a picture, but I did cut out the bottom of the scoops and fit in the inserts and the grates. It's not very hard to complete.

    Hey thanks Craig, It looks great in that pic, who did you buy your GS Hood from? anymore close up pics? what did you use to cut the scoops out?

    It's old, I think the company was Fiberglass Trends. I just used a drill for a piolet hole and then a fine tooth hack saw blade. A pnuematic jig saw is what I use these days though. A lot faster and easier. Here's another pic from the track in the early 90's. The other is recent. 10 years sitting in the shed, right before I took a jig saw to it for a new project
