Beautiful car but it makes my blood boil and I will tell you why. In the late 70s I was selling cars for a used car dealer in Tacoma WA. They had a policy there for the sales people that they could by any trade in for $50.00 over the trade in allowance. You probably know where this is going. They took in a Blue ( same color ) with black interior and top. Bucket seat 4 speed car. As soon as the deal was done and the buyers left I told the manager I would buy the car. OK he said, we will write it up tomorrow. I even drove it home that night. The next day when I came to work he had the deal wrote up but it was marked up about $400.00. After a heated discussion I passed on the car and told the manager what he could do with it. Looking back I should have bought it anyway. We all know hind sight is 20/20. Bob H.
