Have a Clock that needs repair. This is an original early 70s pointed lens gauge and the clock is not working. If Anyone has a good resource for clock repair please let me know by posting contact name and info. Also typical cost? Thanks !
You can actually do it yourself . Not that hard . PM me and I can send you some simple instructions .
You can buy a quartz electronic conversion kit on eBay for like $90 and convert it yourself. If not, I offer that service
I found a quartz clock that uses a AA battery from a second hand store and made it work to fit the stock face plate and hands. This way it keeps the time when the car battery is disconnected. It was a little time consuming but a fun project.
My 2 cents - quartz conversion is the best - lasts a long time. Mine is still keeping time after 10 years!
