1970 GS or GSX 4-speed Non A/C only!

Looking for a 70 GS 455, 70 GS Stage-1 or GSX clone must be a 70 4-speed car with no A/C. Ill consider auto cars but must be non A/C only. Original or not OK. Big block a must unless its a stick car. Lets see what you have cause i still havent found "The ONE". Have up to $50k to spend, no cars that need alot of work please, prefer a nice restored or quality car. Gee whiz, I just helped two members from Texas find cars in the last month, one a 70 Stage 1 4 speed, Sloan documented, but not matching numbers anymore, red on black, and one a 70 GS 4speed, maybe a Stage one, not matching numbers engine anymore. First one needs body work and paint, second was ready to go, both well below your price range. Don't know if they would have been "The ONE" or not, and I don't think they will be reselling anytime soon..............

I was wondering if you could help me with some info. A friend of mine here in N.C. sold a 72 Stage 1 4speed to someone from Mass around 10 years ago. Car was gold in color with a brown interior, Also had a 390 posi. do you remember hearing of such a car going your way?

Look in the cars for sale section, John Stevens from Indiana has his 70 stage1 4 speed
for sale.

 

I do remember earlier this year of a gold 72 stage 1 4 speed selling on ebay, dont recall who owned it but it was from mass. o No:

Nice car, but..Im looking for a 70 only, that car is a 71, a 4-speed only, that car is an automatic, and a non A/C car only and that one has A/C...doesnt seem like a match to me. ou: Thanks

First of all i dont know why its your concern about whose car i decide to buy or not. I liked Johns car but couldnt live with the color combo, not to mention it needs a full makeover to be show quality which is what im looking for. Secondly, i never heard back from Bill regarding my old GSX clone when we couldnt agree on a price and he stated himself he prefered a TRADE other than sell the car outright. Please do me a favor and dont worry about my decisions on whether of not a car is right for me. Thanks- Ray ou:

There was no reason to give him any attitude, he was only asking a question. If you want people to help, I hear you can get a lot further with a little kindness. I believe you owe Rich an apology.

Why cant people here just mind their own business? I really dont need to hear all the pals of Bill Van Steins giving me crap about not buying my old car back from him. We couldnt work out a deal and thats all that matters. I dont really care if you like my responses or not or the reasons why i didnt buy a car from this guy or that guy. This post is about ME looking for a car for ME not YOU or any of your buddies. Lets keep my post about people that want to sell me a car and Ill be the one to decide whether or not i want to buy it.
