I picked up what I was told was a 1970 GS rear end originally having a 3:64 gear set in it. This rear end does have the 'ON' on the driver's axle tube. This rear end is basically missing the inner guts(no posi and gears). It does comes with the complete 28 spline axles and bearings. It has a pinion gear of the 2.93 variety that guy determined would not work out, The rear end also has the bearing caps on it. The rear end itself is in good shape although it is rusty and having some pitting. It needs a good sand blasting. The numbers on the differential read 1385724-F on pass side and T229 on the driver's side. The incorrect pinion is 1231484 with 14-41. Looking at some info on rear end codes it looks to be a 69 or 70 with 3.64 gears for a 69 or 70 GS 4spd and Stage 1. Selling for all that I have with it for $150 and I would rather not have to ship it but will if I have to at your cost.
