Hi All!...Well, The Florida residential construction industry is albiet dead and because of that my finances are gone. So, after long, rough and thorough deliberations, sadly enuf, I've decided to sell my 70 GSX. I know I will eventually regret this, but I 'MUST'. :ball: I have quite a few pages of details including recent Wayne Roberts documentation, and tons of copies of original Florida ownership documents. I will tell you this, My GSX will be, the least expensive real GSX on the todays market, PERIOD. It is perhaps, one of the LAST Apollo white GSX's built in 1970! No, its not 100% numbers matching, the engine is a 70 but not matching by just 21 days, the heads and chrome valve covers, the T400 trans, 3:64 rear end and all the correct periferals making this a true, REAL GSX, are all included. The bodywork is exceptional with NOS GM full quarters, NOS factory GM Grille with NOS ORIGINAL GSX grille EMBLEM!, new fender, new door skins, ABSOLUTLEY PERFECT GSX hood with tachometer and much more. The car was painted and frame off restored back in late 80;s and sports some 'storage rash' and other areas that justify a fresh repaint. 20 YEARS, this car not ever been reassembled, but is now, solely for the purpose of pictures to show how complete this car is. The Stage 1 motor was built using all the best Kenne-Bell stuff but has never been fired. ZERO MILES... this car has been tucked away in dry, controlled storage facilities since 1988 and now is ready for someone to step-up and finish it correctly. I am asking just $37,500 DELIVERED to any city in Al, GA, FL, NC & SC. OR $35,500 you come and get it. For details, MANY many more pix and the complete story, email me direct; PenWheelz@ij.net Wheelz, Tampa Bay
was this a four speed car originally with that 3.64 rear? I sure wish this was about 6 months down the road as I will probably be back looking by the time this financial storm subsides. The apollo white X car is a car I have wanted to complete my collection for now. What all is needed to complete the car?
um KC, Nope...on that 4 speed gear. Its original, non a/c factory automatic rear gear for 1970. and another NO, I cannot wait another 6 months! Wish I could tho. But for the past 11 months, I have been making mortgage payments on our home using our home equity line..ou: stupid I know. Its borrowing money from the home, to pay for the home, its never ending expensive cycle. I have till October 19 to pay the equity line off. After that date, the bank has told me they'll start proceedings to collect...so I'll probably hold onto the GSX. Lets see...I'll make the trunk our fridge, and the driver side floorpan a bunk bed, I'll stack our clothes on the engine and inner fenders and I'll park the car in a KOA campground area and my gorgeous wife, our son and I, will just live in the dumb thing. :spank: :bglasses: KC, if you are seriously interested, email me direct for details: PenWheelz@ij.net Wheelz, Tampa Bay
I'm sorry to hear it...I am in the process of selling most all of my toys to keep financing my repair business (the banks have locked up any commercial lending right now). Hopefully I have 1 of the 2 cars left...just sold almost 10K in race bikes yesterday so I bought some time. I wish I could buy that off your hands right now...it really is THE GS I am looking for my collection. If for some reason I get BOTH verts sold and can swing the cash from the 70 your way I will get in touch with you. Take care and I wish you well during these times
Wheelz, The cost of living and real estate in South Florida is the reason I'm moving back to my house in PA. I wish you the best and hope you don't get too stressed out. Remember, it's only money and the way it's going it won't be worth the paper it's printed on.
ThanX for your input Rob. Yea, the Florida economy is at the lowest I've seen since the mid 70's, and falling. Fast. I dont want to start a political battle here, but, I just heard some local politician say we're NOT in a recession... I dont know HOW anyone, living in Florida can say that with a straight face. Its just not right. Anyway, sorry to ramble. Please keep the prayers coming. ray:ray: ray: and send me a buyer!! THANQ! Wheelz, Tampa Bay
I am cringing as I am writing this. Put it together and put it on E-Bay. The buyer you are looking for most likely is not feeling the crunch.
PM sent. Realistically, What is there to debate about???? Regardless of political alliances !! Upstaged in Michigan( home of high unemployment and crappy roads).
Dennis-I sent you a pm. You can pm me or email me. I hate to see you sell this car. Wish I had the $$$$$,as I know the effort you have put into having the correct parts for the car and wanting it "perfect". Mike Nussell
