Does someone reproduce the Lt and Rt outside mirror lenses? If so can you buy it with the Rt side manual adjuster Thanks Ken
I was looking for one last summer and had no luck. Someone gave me a part # for NPD that turned out to be for a camaro. I made a templet and had a piece of mirror cut at my local glass shop for 5.00
You have to be careful if you decide to buy used parts for these mirrors, as both the mirror housing (base & top) and mirrors got slightly larger on later mirrors. The only pieces you can use are the ones from the right mirrors. Guys have had shops put new glass in them, but the trick is to get the glass shop to bevel the glass along the edge where it fits into the plastic mirror housing. If the Rt side adjuster is stuck take the mirror apart and put some type of penetrating oil on it. It will take a while but should release. When people try to force the mirror to turn, and its stuck, the mirrors break. Duane
