1970 GSX Stage 1 4 speed. No reserve?

I'm sure I have seen this car on the board before. I believe it was a large sum of money at that time. Now it's bid to 10k. Appears to be a no reserve auction. Anyone know the owner? Wish I had the beans for another one!

I recall this on the board as well, nice car...but it was a chunk of change at the time.

He mentions rust under the rear window, an tears in the vinyl. doesnt sound like a number one or two car. My guess is he will pull the listing when he doesn't get his price.

 

i wouldn't expect it to be a no. 1 or 2 car if it has mostly original paint.

 

Seems to be all there and pretty darn solid.It's a tweener,leave it as is or frame off it.Depends which direction a buyer wants to go.Hard core 4 peed guys may not like the a/c a whole bunch.But someone will end up with a nice X.Good luck to seller & buyer.:3gears: :3gears: :TU:

Are you saying that a stage 1 4 spd X isn't worth 40K at least? I expect it might get 70K from it.

 

No, the price just seemed to jump quickly with only a couple bids. I'm just used to seeing the price slowly climb when there's no reseve:grin:
