    BUQUICK I'm your huckleberry.

Rich we've had this conversation before and we both agreed, these cars didn't leave the factory with rust pits and after a proper restoration there should be no rust pits. Great work on your chassis. I'm looking forward to seeing it in BG.

Yes Gary, I bodywork everything to ensure flat straight metal so everything looks like it came off the line 5 minutes ago.

I do not take or remove any lousy welds or stress pull marks in metal that should be there, only bodywork out rust pits and or damage that has occurred during it's in service life.

Everything is bodyworked to remove in service life rust rash followed by sealing in with epoxy primer and than custom top coat painting with paint that looks like raw steel, cast iron or magnesium plating .

Typically everything would flash rust in a few days off the assembly line, my goal is to make the 5 minutes off the line look permanent.

Axle tubes ,backing plates, axle cover, springs est ........

That looks amazing. Great work. The detail is awesome.

I don’t have a GS yet… would love to find my dads old stage 1 some day and this is what I would plan to do depending on condition of course. This is very inspiring.

Is there a guide that has all of this concourse information available. Like proper colours, sheen, markings etc of all of the components? Tips/tricks?
