This is the one that sold at Mecum for $43K. VIN 446370H300675 Wow, talk about a mark-up............. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Buick-Skyla...tr=true&hash=item463ba23287&item=301648196231 Mecum: https://www.mecum.com/lot-detail/SC0515-213286/0/1970-Buick-GSX/Automatic/
Looks like a pretty nice car. I think he stole it at the price he got it for. He deserves to make a some bucks for his time.
46K + 10%= $50,600. Transportation, figure at least 10 to 20% in clean up costs, etc. It doesn't look like a bad deal for a White A/C Stage 1 GSX. Someone just needs a Buick guy that knows his stuff to check it out.

Hmm... The stripes do appear thin and short. Maybe the low price at Mecum was because of the trans conversion.
Stripes are too pointed at the front, thin, and too glossy. The documentation from the GSX Historical Society says B-C includes B-2 TH400 and B-4 full console so it looks to be a factory automatic car. http://www.realmusclecar.com/Cardetail.php?catid=150
Docs also call for custom seat and shoulder belts which are not in the car, and there is no mention of an AM/FM radio. This and the aforementioned details are probably the things that hold prices down at auction. I would want the car's equipment to match the documentation pretty closely.
My Hat is off to the Guy! This Guy took some risk buying it, cleaned it up + all the time effort and expense to travel to auction. Hopefully he makes some money on it and makes it worth his time. Some times it goes the other way, and people loose money when taking risk on cars.... nothing is for certain in this world. Risk takers make things happen and sometimes others benefit by their risk and they loose. However, most of the time people only talk about the successes of flipping cars and not the losses...... If I buy a paper Cup for a dollar and sell it for $10 to a willing buyer, does it make me a crook or a smart Businessman?
