I think that if you are willing to travel to Portland to some junkyards you just might have a better chance at getting what you want. There are only about 4 of us on this board that are from Oregon, so finding someone in your neck of the woods that has what you want on this board is probably not going to happen. If you would like I can possibly help you locate one in the Portland Metropolitan area. Unfourtunatly having to travel to aquire Buick parts for your project is just apart of the journey, so if you want any help you can PM me with more information and we can see what I can do for you. :beer

Here's another link. All of these cars have a rear end that will fit your application. You should ask about shipping by Greyhound Bus Lines, it might not be too expensive. Hope this helps!

Andrew Skidmore found one at a junkyard up in Vancouver, WA for $350, but that's too much for what the car is worth. I don't think we can fix our old one (pin that holds the spider gears is snapped off and we can't get it out), so unless someone local puts one up for sale real cheap we'll probably end up just selling or parting out the lesabre unfortuneately. Thanks for all the info.

You should contact GM Jim's Differentials on this board, or PXTX another member of this board, they may be able to help you get that pin out. I've read good things about both of these members, they know their stuff when it comes to rear ends. I wouldn't give up yet!
