    Hi guys,

    Two quick questions:

    1. The magnet of my a/c sometimes does engage the moment I turn the a/c on, but sometimes it doesn't. My mechanic said it was due to the fact that I drive my baby only in summer. The standing still, causes the magnet wheel to corrode a bit on the inside, therefore decreasing magnetism. How can I fix this?

    2. When I took my dash apart to replace a bulb, the vent system only worked through the middle vent in the dash in all switch positions. Afterwards, only the window vents worked in all switch positions.
I did see a lot of the original duct tubing had gone bad and I fixed as much as possible with good old ductape.

Could it be that I bent a switch guide wire when putting the dash back in, that caused this?

I really like the cold air coming out of the middle vent in the dash. The rest is not that bad, if it has to be missed.

Thank you all in advance, as usual, for your superb assistance in this!

Am I the only one who has run into this problem with the rotten tubing?
