I thought I would share with you some info I have found on my 70-skylark custom. My car came from the factory with California emissions installed. The Items I found were.... A sticker on the Passangerside inner fender well dated 1969, for 1967 through 1970 vehicles. Stated that this car has Electro- NOX with more info included. It also had a box on the firewall. I looked through the factory assembly manual and it does not show it. It is the Electro NOX box It contains wires and Vacuum line to the carburetor. The 70 also has a vacuum canister installed on the drivers side on the core support. and finally the windshield washer bottle is moved from the driver side inner fender well to the fender near the vacuum canister. Just thought I would share the knowledge I have learned.... :beer
My 70 GS455 also had the vaccuum canister installed on the drivers side core support. Mine is a Freemont built car.
