1970 Skylark Fender Shims -original factory style

    I am looking for 4 fender shims for 1970 skylark fenders- need old original factory shims.

    Pls see attached drawing.

    Never seen them in any Skylark.......never seen shims shaped like that in any car.

    ditto what George said, I've only seen them pictured in the manual drawings

    Thanks for the response, however I had two of these on my GSX when we disassembed it. They are too rusty to do anything with.
    I'm still hoping that someone may have some goods ones. If not, then I'll have to make them.

    Very interesting. I took a pair of these off my GSX, but they are too rusty to do anything with.
    They do exist and I am hoping someone may have some around. Thanks for the info...if necessary may have to make them.

    My 66 GS had them on both sides of the rad support... they look the same....

    My 67 GS400 has these also. Most all 66 + 67's I've seen in the boneyard have them. They were spot welded to the fender during assembly. I have a stack on each fender of various thicknesses. You can chisel them off and re-use them cuz' you won't see the weld holes once installed.

    I have seen tose on many. To clarify the picture that is the fender to core support area. Also check other A bodies. Also big cars may have them.
