Post a pic of the cowl tag and we can help you out.

Is the speedometer for an auto car? If it is, chances are you answered your question.

Do the numbers just forward of the 4 speed tailshaft on the passenger side match the car?

Great find! I love these stories.

Unless you're holding your cards close to the vest, which is entirely your right, I think I speak for the masses when I say we need more pics and MUCH more info as to how you stumbled upon this gem.

    Just saying....

Me too, since I go past Fargo fairly regularly. I just hope that car did not fall victim to the massive flooding of a few years ago.

If it was an automatic and you need a trans, there's someone here right now with a BB trans that he might be looking to sell.

Body tag has F for vinyl top color which would be dark brown not black.
Any way, yes, Desert gold with dark brown Vinyl top

Ah , thought that was B not F . Desert Gold is a nice color . Same as Rightclicks Hemmings Muscle car of the year .

    BadBrad Got 4-speed?

If there is no "H" in the VIN it is not a Stage 1 since all Stage 1 cars came from Flint. If there is an "H" then it might be a Stage 1.

I agree DL.,Desert gold is a very nice color.
Pontiac called the same color Palomino Copper, which is a better name as it is a copperish colored Gold.
