Rare 1970 Buick GS Stage 1. All original numbers matching car. Not restored. Still runs and drives. Have Protect-O-Plate, Original owners manuals and brochure. Original paint, drivetrain, Interior (except seat covers) and original wheels. Matching numbers standard bore engine. My father purchased this car new, one family car. No hidden damage or bodywork. No cracks in dashboard, interior in very good condition. Floors have no rust. Trunk has surface rust and pitting but no holes due to rear window seal leak. Quarters have small rust spots at very bottom but easily fixable. I have new air cleaner decals and new foam for ram air intake. Only 2,465 of these were made and fewer in this color combination. Car is located in California. Clean title and current registration

Not bad! Looks like a no reserve auction, too. Bid to buy!

I find that car to be very appealing.

    Drum brakes?

In 1970, that was possible. Drums were standard.

White over black is one combo you don’t see often. And I like it.

I thought I read that big block cars got discs automatically but yes have seen a few 455 cars with drums

No disc brakes were optional. My GS 455 also came with drum brakes, but it has discs now. Bruno.

Disk was an option in 1970 and (I believe) standard in 1971.

Mine has manual drums all around.

    Power drums, no less.

Looks to be correct if I'm seeing the bleeders on it?

Correct. Disc brakes became standard on the big block GS in ‘71. Small block cars still came standard with drum brakes.

Reynolds car has non-power aluminum drum brakes….

About half of the 1970 455 cars built had power drum brakes, about 1200 more were non-power drum brakes.

The door panels and dash don't look black to me and the front seats compared to the back side of them look different. Almost like blotchy dark brown shoe polish.
