that are complete with the key and lock. I have some that are complete with all its needed to install them. Bruno.
Great, If is the correct K key trunk lock that works. let me know the price, also if you have the matching glove compartment lock with it just let me know. tom
My question is what is K Key configuration? I guess you can get from John, as I do not know what to look for. I also have quite a few of them, but mine are probably from cars I took apart 30 years ago. Bruno.
Bruno, Each lock set will only accept a certain letter coded key blank. 1970 lock sets will accept “J & K” keys only, 1971 are “A&B”, 1972 are “C&D” You cannot put a “K” key in either a 71 or 72 lock set because it will not fit. The Original Poster is looking for a Correct 1970 “K” key trunk lock assembly so he can re-key it to match his other locks, so he only has 2 keys for his car and they are the correct ones for his year. The keys have the letter codes cast/stamped into them, so if you have an unknown lock you can see which “key” fits into the housing and see which year/code it is for. I have all mine separated by year. Hope this helps. I can dig through mine as well if it gets to me. Duane
I have a 1970 trunk lock assembly that fits the “K” code key. It is the assembly only including the spring and rod but has no key. It is $12.00 plus the ride if you want it. Let me know. Duane
