    Single Stage Stage 1?

On my 71 car, Im having to swap my current very nice single pulley on my alternator for a correct double pulley, but its discolored and has surface rust on it. I know its a silver type color, but is it zinc plated, cast, or just metal painted silver? Any help would be great because I plan on swapping it tomorrow, so I gotta make it pretty. Thanks very much in advance.

Pulley was originally silver zinc plated. Fan was stamped from galvanized sheet.

I respectfully disagree with the zinc part. Should be silver cad not zinc. I have good original and you can see slight rainbow hue to it. John Pirkle who concourse restores alternators plated one for me and this is what he said they are as well. The zinc is what is used on hardware store washers I believe. Cannot post pictures anymore for some reason.
