Hi fella’s I’m on the hunt for a factory 350 crank pulley. My original is a ‘71 AC, not sure if other years will work or not. Mine got damaged slightly while in years of storage. I can provide a part # if they are stamped. Still on motor. TIA Jim
It should have a part #,but a 72 will fit also.I have a few 3 groove crank pulley's if Matt does not have it.Bruno.
Let me see if I can get out,for you guy's up there its easy.as you are accustomed with this kind of cold,we are not.Last night was 5 below zero, with the windshield factor.I have not gone into my garage in a week, lets hope it gets a little warmer.I will tell you the ones I have and the numbers,if you want.Bruno.
I just looked today,my hands were frozen after 15 minutes.I have 4 of them, but 2 of them is what you will need.If you want one how's $25.00 plus shipping?Bruno.
Ok I got the pulley off today and I'll be damned if I can see a part # on it. First off, should there be a number stamped into it......and where? If someone can shed shed some light on this it would be appreciated. The pulley was pretty grungy, so I have it in parts cleaner soaking. TIA
You are looking for 1235821. Most times the number is stamped on the outer area of the pulley or the outer hub, however, some are stamped on the inner, recessed part. After cleaning the part of grease, hit it with a glass bead blast or wire wheel. https://www.ebay.com/itm/67-76-SMAL...ash=item3afb32ec6e:g:4qcAAOSwZqZaOsrz&vxp=mtr
Bruno, It's actually a water pump pulley. Its the mate to the crank pulley that he needs I posted that picture so Jim would have an idea where on the pulley that the numbers are usually stamped. I posted the ebay to show how sometimes the numbers are on the inside. Matt
Matt you are totally correct........that is the number on my bent pulley 1235821. Thank you much I appreciate it.
Any of you guys think this pulley can be fixed? I personally felt it would be easier to just get another, but maybe it's easily fixed. It's been dented in the front groove from sitting over the years and being moved around. Maybe you guys have some experience with this sorta thing. I'll post some pics up shortly
