:gp: During winter after total rebuild of my '71 Buick 455 into a 575-hp Pro-Charger supercharged BEAST, and "HeartBreaker," I offer inexpensive, original stock engine parts to good, useful homes: A 1971 455 intake manifold, $75. Stock 455 heads with valves, push-rods, and complete top-end valve assembly, $200. Needing clean-up, full set of stock rods and pistons, $100. Stock set of original valve covers with correct oil cap and new Edelbrock gaskets, $75. Stock cam shaft, $45. Original 5-blade clutch fan, like-new condition, $50. Stock 455 torque converter, re-balanced and painted, $75. Each pricing plus FedEx shipping to your door. For background, the original 1971 455 engine was rebuilt stock in 2006. The parts listed have less than 30K mileage, and are definitely still useful items. Photos available for those interested. Thanks for considering. Hello, I have a Buick Riviera GS 1971 from which the original engine is missing... So I am on a search for a long-block with matching casting numbers... Block casting: 1231738 or 1238861 with 455 besides it.. Between the front left 1st and 2th spark plug there should be the letters TA... And if possible with intake manifold and exhaust manifolds... Intake casting: 1236403 / 455 Exhaust casting: right 1238094 left 1233451 And I am also looking for a dashboard... Would be awesome if you could helpe me with or know any salvage yard thats worth trying? Kind regards, Michael
Michael wish I had seen this all those years ago. Local yard has (2) coded '71 long blocks. Dave S dona Ana NM 88032
