Hello All, I have a 1971 Skylark custom for sale. It is Nocturene Blue Poly (1970 Diplomat Blue) same color. It has a white top and Pearl interior. I have own this car for 14 years and am the 4th owner. I start a new job the end of January in Novi, MI and don't want to take the car with me. I currently live in Seymour, TN long story why I moved from Michigan. Since I have owned the car detailed the engine compartment, Completely new suspension and power steering box. Converted to disc brakes in front, 12 bolt posi rear with 4:10 gears a little aggressive for a 350 2bbl. Paint is decent looks pretty good chrome is good as well. The car is 99.9 % rust free. The car currently runs and drives, stopping need attention. Car need AC compressor installed and the Brakes sorted out. With the right price I will include a 455 with headers and dual 3" exhaust, flowmaster mufflers. I have driven the car less than 500 miles in the last 14 years. I could write a book on this car but rather discuss over the phone. I have a boatload of pics before and after work done. I am asking $20K for everything car and 455 with accessories but willing to (neg). If you would like to discuss further my # is 765 749-2437 Before 9pm please I work early. My email is Duce455@gmail.com I live in Seymour, TN near Gatlinburg. Thank you, Van
Thanks guys for all the complements. It's really a great car just don't drive it. Want it to go to someone that will fix and drive it.
Very nice looking car. Great deal at this price. I'm currently buried in projects.... otherwise, I'd be very, very interested! Best of luck.
Do you have your ad anywhere else? I can't believe it didn't get scooped up at $20K w/the 455 included?
I have the car in the local Craigslist for $17.5K I start a new job at the end of the month would like to sell it before then. https://knoxville.craigslist.org/cto/d/seymour-1971-buick-skylark-custom/7574007960.html
Maybe try eBay or one of the auction websites. I see cars like yours everyday get auctioned satisfactorily. I follow these auctions and get more surprised by the day how much people will overpay for something. Bring a trailer .com is full of idiot shills that drive up the prices for you. Classic .com is a great resource, also. Wish you luck!
